We have reconfigured how we distribute SasktranIF to help support more development tools. You must install the Sasktran Core Components and then install the interface for your development environment(s) of choice.

Matlab interface to Core Components

Visual Studio 2012 and 2015 C++ Redistributables 

You may need to install the VS 2012 redistributables  or VS2015 Redsitributables library on your computer if the core components  dont work especially if they cannot find MSCVRT.DLL . We currently transiting from VS2012 to VS2015 and we have  components developed on both platforms.


The biggest change to the V4 interface is that ISKEngine::CalculateRadiance now returns an array of [wavelength, lines ofsignt] while V3 returned an array of [Lines of sight, wavelength]


Building SasktranIF V4  for 64bit Linux

You can view our instructions on building the SasktranV4 code on a Linux system using Python 3. The instructions work on our x64 Ubuntu 14.04 LTS system. It should work on your system as well but its not been tested. You can download an OMPS  test file for the SasktranIF installation/retrieval code  from here


SasktranIF Version 3.3.0. Deprecated.

The 1 or 2 users who may need the old SasktranIf for backward compatibility can download Version 3.3.0 from here. Windows x64 SasktranIF_x64_V330.msi. We have dropped support for this  interface and have moved over to V4.
